Nicole “Nickel” Nimmons is a relationship-first real estate advisor with the Joe Platz Group at Keller Williams Realty Boise. Having lived and worked in the Treasure Valley for nearly 25 years, Nickel offers her clients meaningful local insight, thoughtful guidance, and a genuine understanding of the communities they are considering.
Before beginning her real estate career, Nickel spent more than 20 years in executive leadership at Boise State University. As Associate Vice President of Campus Services, she oversaw complex operations, property leasing, major events, community partnerships, and multimillion-dollar contracts. That experience strengthened the skills she now brings to every real estate transaction: strategic thinking, creative problem-solving, clear communication, and confident negotiation.
Nickel holds a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Northern Arizona University and an Executive MBA from Boise State University. She is a proud alumna of both universities, a Leadership Boise alumna, and an active member and volunteer with the Idaho Women’s Charitable Foundation.
Whether helping someone purchase their first home, relocate to Idaho, prepare for a move, downsize, or sell a longtime property, Nickel believes clients deserve honest information—not pressure. She takes the time to understand what matters most, explain the process clearly, and create a personalized strategy that protects her clients’ interests.
When she is not helping clients, Nickel enjoys cycling, kayaking, hiking, weightlifting, camping, spending time with her dogs, and fostering dogs in need. Her love for Idaho’s outdoor lifestyle and its people is an important part of the enthusiasm and local perspective she shares with her clients.
Nickel serves buyers and sellers throughout Boise, Meridian, Eagle, Kuna, Star, Nampa, Caldwell, Garden City, and the surrounding Treasure Valley.
